If you only have time to memorize and learn 1 of the numerous Vault Guides, what is the best one to do? VG to Finance Interviews, VG to Investment Banking, VG to Quantitative Finance Interviews, VG to Investment Management, VG to S & T, etc?
Assume that you will be interviewing for numerous divisions within an investment bank?

I looked at all of them and
I looked at all of them and found Finance the most comprehensive, however it might not delve into the detail you want.
I found
Vault Guide to Finance is the best overall
but i would also read the one that is the career you want to go into (IB, S&T, IM,etc).
Finance Interviews
for basics read the valuation chapter.

Do you have access to "Heard
Do you have access to "Heard on the Street: Quantitative Questions from Wall Street Interviews"? If you're an undergrad, the questions in there will make your interview feel like a walk in the park. Just be prepared for the typical interview questions, too. Have stories ready that illustrate your ability to work hard, act as a leader, and get the job done right.
Also, read the WSJ before the interview.
Anyone notice that Vault
Anyone notice that Vault seems to almost totally exclude Carlyle? They have a listing for it, but it doesn't seem right in a lot of ways.
It isn't on their prestige rankings anywhere. The employee/salary surveys also appear to be for a totally different company.....they seem very unrelated/random.
Anyway, lots of the smaller companies I was looking at (still not tiny) weren't in their listings, which didn't make me very happy.
