Why did you go to college?
Was it because:
-It's just what you're supposed to do?
-Parents forced you?
-You wanted a good job?
-You wanted to learn?
-You wanted to party?
-You wanted to say you went to _______ University?
-any other reason
I would've made a poll but I can't do that now...
And now what do you think is the best reason to go to college?
I'd like real responses please... If you realize now that college was really great for you because you learned so much, but when you first went it was just for a job, then say that instead of acting like you knew how awesome a college education was all along.
I'll go first obviously... I went because it's what I thought I should just do. I was heavily into music and music production, so I was going to a community college so when people would ask if I was going to school, I could say yes and so I could get an associates in music and just go to a school focused on producing afterwards. Then my son came along and I decided to switch majors (also realized that music is not something that I should learn in a school). Then I actually applied myself and realized that I'm not so bad at learning and I actually enjoy (kinda love) it.
Best reason to go to college now? I'd go with the obvious: for a job and the education with the edge depending on how wealthy you/your parents are.
The sake of learning and a stepping stone to where I want to finally be in life.
For college ass.
Why do I anything? Why do I get out of bed in the morning? Why do I put on my tie and my little monkey suit every single god damn day?
I think it will get me laid.
lol... I've thought this way for a while now (pretty sure some famous person said it)... seems like pretty much everything guys do is to get some pussy haha. at the end of the day we're still animals.
I shouldn't have even made college ass an option cause that's pretty much a given
For the biddies
because everyone else did. thinking back, i really should have done a gap year before going to college and once more after college. too bad americans don't really have this as a custom.

I love Eastbound and Down. Filmed where I grew up.
For all of the above reasons. I also left college for a while to do other stuff, and honestly, jobs that you get with a college degree are way better. And yeah, college girls
To get ready for SA gigs and network my way to fulltime IB obviously..
The only reason anybody does anything...benjies.
so that I could be unemployed and still keep the parents proud.
I liked that one...lol
Honestly, going to college (in my opinion) is a safety net and a career boost. I decided to go back to college after experiencing the pitfalls of not having a degree. I was in a management capacity where I handled on average 10 workers, but my pay was slightly less than half of that of those who had college degrees. There was little chance of my making the same amount with less than another 8-9 years of experience. For me, college was the opportunity to make what my position was worth. It also opens up a lot of doors as many companies use the college degree as a barrier to entry to weed out those not willing to put in the time and effort to achieve a higher level of education.
Because of the quality of Pu***. Honestly, I have lots of opportunities to get to know new people. I have so much fun with girls and boys. That´s what college matters.
What is so interesting about that?..If you study, you will get to know so many people you have never known before. You know that. You can have fun with them. And they know it, too. There are also lots of stressful days, but I have the possibility to experience new things I have never had before and I will never ever have as banker.
Good examples are always travelling and networking.
I traveled in Europe (I study in Germany, so it is easy to travel to other European countries) and America (Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela).. I don´t think that a banker has enough time to travel around the world.
