Actually being able to enjoy everyday and focusing on building myself up. Today is filled with worries about what my job will be in a years time, my boss's satisfaction with my work, and the realization that things will just continue to get more difficult.

I need a drink.

This x 100. I would also add not being jaded was a great thing as well. There are probably a number of similar things I would categorize under naïveté that were nice characteristics to have (at the time).

That being said, as great as those feelings were at the time, it would be disconcerting to find a wildly idealistic and naive 50 year old guy.
