The answer is obviously either HF manager or retired (assuming a high-net worth retirement).
The fact that two people voted that being an entry-level associate is better than being the guy who's RUNNING the show at a decent hedge fund raises questions about the level of narrowminded stupidity on this board.

Remeber, you have to think of all of college kids on the board and all of the 1st years who are still delusional and would get on two knees for a job at KKR or Blackstone.
You've got to be kidding me! AAA baseball is just a heartbeat from the pros and the land of million dollar salaries for playing a GAME (no excel spreadsheets).
Telling me that being one step away from hitting home runs in front of 35,000 people is worse than spending 90 hours with MS Excel is ludicrous. It doesn't matter if you don't like baseball...ludicrous

...AAA isnt one step from the major's, nowadays most AAA players are washed up has-beens and the guys who are actually going to the show go straight from AA or lower. As a Met fan i will give the example that neither jose reyes or david wright spent any time at AAA and none of their current prospects play there. I would say only 1 in 20 AAA players end up spending more then a few games in late september in the Majors.
Unless u are ready to retire, the only choice is HF manager...

the only pretty good AAA prospects of late have been Chase Utley and Ryan Howard(NL MVP) both from the Phillies.
Notice how the "Hf Manager" and "Retired" choices don't display a metric? That means you can end up in the gutter or the sky, and everywhere in between.

I could be wrong but isn't "Manager" a metric?
Take a look at the choices provided: BB, Boutique/MM, KKR, even AAA. You could be a HF manager at Bridgewater or a chop shop selling bait to retirees. Same with "Retired."

I agree. The hedge fund
I agree. The hedge fund manager is not equal to the others. I chose VP at a bulge, because I waould to give career banking a shot

I hate baseball. If one of the options had been a pro-kicker/punter then in a heartbeat. Man, I miss the glorious HS football days
retired = no work. game

easy
HF Manager, hands down...or better yet, a retired HF manager
HF Manager
Who are all these people smoking crack that want KKR associate so badly?
Excel
You think a HF Manager touches Excel?
Re: easy

Found the right answer.

Man, talk about overanalyzing it. Get a life.
No doubt
HF manager for sure. How is this losing in the poll to Associate? Crazy! Hmm, 500k vs. 50mm+
Def HF manager
HF manager prob makes more money then all of them, and hopefully can retire earlier.
