it's a revolving door from what i have observed. i just checked their website and they no longer list the names of their associates or "sr" analysts. late last year i interviewed a guy who worked there sometime in 07 or 08 (can't remember). this guy had worked at 4 investment banks during his analyst career and it was unreal. additionally i don't recognize any of the MDs names except one or two from when i last looked, but then again it's been years.

you should try greif & co. in downtown LA. they have a good group of people there, at least they did 3 years ago when i was scouring the LA market. they didn't like me since i didn't have much sell-side experience at the time, but they did have an amazing office though.

you should pm monkeybusiness123, he interned over last summer, not a very strong place in terms of dealflow and exit opps, but many bankers (sr and jr) are legit, they all graduated from top schools...they just hired an ex co-head of global banking of Bear Stearns last summe...other than that you should ask him directly

thanks for the info guys.

I interviewed there for a summer position and the guys seem pretty good but I am not sure what the firm is like since their website hasnt been updated for a while.

Run away! They are a joke and use unpaid interns as slave labor. If that's all you can get then take it but try for something else. Know one of the partners/MDs through some other work and he is a great guy but the place is not where you want to be if you have a choice.

PM me a bit more about your background and i'll try to help
