It's that time of year again, Fantasy Football.

If people are interested again this year I'll be setting up a WSO Fantasy Football league.

One condition is if you know that you'll never check it please do not say you're interested or if you know nothing about the NFL and don't even watch games.

Thanks, Bfin.

We use Yahoo, sorry forgot to mention it.

Nobama, DM. Will be allowed to join if they want to considering they came in first and second respectively.

I will send out the league ID and pass to 6 lucky monkey's on Friday or Saturday.

Edit: Expect a PM late Saturday because I'm moving back into school.

Also, here is something that I put together in excel. You may find it helpful.

Care to give a high-level overview of your spreadsheet? I see that you have ADP, but 2012 Projections are 0 and there is no formula in there.

I was going to create a spreadsheet that calculates flexible rankings based on expected stats and league specific scoring, but I'd much prefer to find something out there that someone else has done (aka I'm lazy).

This is exactly what I wanted to compile as well; flexible player rankings based league specific scoring settings and my expected stat forecasts.

I only attached my display tab earlier, please see the full spreadsheet here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/36fetq9kwzu3lxb/%2712%20Player%20Guide.xlsx

There are formulas in place to forecast 2012 player stats, however for almost every player, these formulas were blown out and replaced with my own estimates. (I have reverted to the formulas only in the attached spreadsheet.) I recommend coming up with your own player projections.

The ESPN snake and auction values are a couple weeks out of date, but after my review, they have barely changed with the exception of Ryan Mathews following his broken clavicle.

The spreadsheet takes some understanding of Value Based Drafting -- but it's a concept that you can pick up quickly. http://www.footballguys.com/05vbdrevisited.htm

Thanks, this is awesome. I'll definitely be using this to start preparing.

My draft is later this week. Anybody have good tips for late round sleeper picks? Looking for super high upside and not too concerned if they don't work out.

Maybe look at Lester Jean from the Texans, Schaub thinks highly of him and he put up nice numbers in the last preseason game. Also Rashad Jennings from Jacksonville, MJD is holding out and RBS that hold out late into camp usually don't perform well (see Johnson last year)

Jacquizz Rodgers. Not only is Turner old, and if they can, they're going to play him less during the regular season, but Turner is relatively much slower than Rodgers and fast receiving backs are key to the new OC's style.

Worried about durability...I think he's a wee one. I'll check him out though, thanks. Does anyone have an opinion on rookies Doug Martin or Justin Blackmon?

I am in again.

Got to defend my title!

No one had an easier schedule than you.

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

so everyone in your league sucked? You play each other every week I assume? Sounds like either all of you sucked or he drafted really well...
