Middle Office Help!

Wassup guys,

Wondering of anyone knowledgeable can shed some light on Middle office positions such as finance division ( supporting traders) and risk at BB's like Barclays?

Interested in comp, exit opps, skill set or anything you can offer. The search function doesn't really touch on this company too much.

Thanks

Is this for a 1st year analyst position? If so ranges are probably around: Comp: 60 - 65K base with around 10K bonus, lower in lean years Exit Ops: Need to network and work your ass off, try to reach out to people who have made similar moves. Exit is probably easier to trading than to IBD, but tough all around (though not impossible) Skill Set: Excel, especially for risk. Product and market knowledge important to, multi-tasking, soft skills - need to be able to talk to traders without annoying them or making them think you aren't adding value.
