I've read around a lot and found some good guides, I'm sure most people know mergers-and-inquisitions, I downloaded the free networking ninja guide
Currently I am perfecting my 2-3 line pitch for cold calls, will rehearse them and start from low-to-high priority banks.. perfecting my story for if I am asked, tidying up my resume and etc.
I was wondering if anyone can give me any other suggestions on what I could do to improve my methods
I study at a college located in Wellesley (not Bentley) and have a lower end3.0 and I am a junior @ a semi-target (I will make my at least a 3.5+ above or so help me god hopefully 3.7+ by graduation)
I have somewith minor finance relation, some leadership activities acting as CFO in upper curriculum (business plan for start-up pitch)
So given my situation and somewhat late entrance into the game im realistically looking for any finance related internship
That said I have seen the company databse, which is nothing short of amazing so I'm going to make a list of banks over the weekend..
Also I am currently interning in Georgia (the country as in post-communist block country Georgia) so my options of picking up a phone or somewhat limited I will have to do this when I get back to the States on the 25th.
Okay. so that is already wordy enough and I thank you for hearing me out
I would invite any input from anyone on this site on their personal experiences and what I can expect.. I am confident I can find something and am not afraid of being rejected, turned down, etc..
Peace and enjoy your weekend!
