Um...quite skeptical. Seems to me like a guy, a website, and a whole lot of nothing. If you can't smell the fish here, I have some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.

you could apply, but i doubt that you would get in. inkstone seems to only accept a select few, the best of the best, as evidenced by its 20 year old managing director and sole employee.

i interviewed with this firm for an SA position... got it past the first round but got smoked in the second round. the guy is a total stud. he a wharton grad and is one of founding members of DLJ. he opted to go onto the buyside. by day he manages multimillion dollar portfolios (mainly p/e but some special situation/distressed), and by night he is batman.

Looks like a great place to start a career. I heard Inkstone Capital was the lead bookrunner on the Snakeoil Inc. IPO.

Should've waited and checked out the site, here are few nuggets of goodness:

1. Check out the blog, there's a sweet entry called "Speculating on speculation"

2. His July stock pick is Barack Obama

You'd figure he'd at least spell Excel properly

I think it's listed as Tian Zeng on facebook - He's at UVA like untitled. Site is amazing, I can't believe capitaliq can't pull it up in a company search, someone should really get on that.

inkstone capital somehow has its own facebook network. he's the tian zeng in that network, and probably the only member.

hes also on linkedin as timothy zeng. it looks like his previous summer was spent helping people install cable boxes and cable modems (or rather, as a "network engineering intern")

"tittinuts" made some good points about this company, but what I don't understand is that tittinuts registered just to post this article, which I suspect that tittinuts is just a plain hater. Give this guy a break, he is probably aspiring to be something in the future like all of us are.
