15 year old trying to get a Non-compensating internship in Toronto

I am a 15 year old seeking an internship at any IB firm, hedge fund or wealth management. I have emailed and left voice messages to around 15-30 Asset Management firm's. I have only gotten one message back. Its been a month and summer is fast approaching.I am confused and don't know what to do at the moment.

Although I love the enthusiasm. I worked at least part time hours since I was 13 I recommend doing something more creative or productive then getting a job/internship. Learn programming, explore other fields, start a business, etc...

Because when you're in a room full of smart people, smart suddenly doesn't matter—interesting is what matters.

OP, I admire your gumption for being 15 and leaving messages at "15-30 asset management firms." The problem is, without someone in one of those funds already knowing you, I doubt any firm believes that a 15 year old will be able to bring much to the table. Don't worry if nothing pans out, I was washing bird crap off boats when I was 15.

Keep up the good work, and be patient. You'll have the next 40+ years of your life to stare at a computer screen, anyway.

On a side note, there was really just one pair of assets I was worried about acquiring/managing when I was 15. Get your older brother or friend to tell you about them.

15?! Go find a restaurant job and develop your skills washing dishes and tables. Then when you become old enough to work in IB you'll already have experience being somebodies bitch :)
