With the summer coming up soon, I figured I would post on here looking for a little advice on how to turn myposition into a full time job offer. I thought it might be relevant for a lot of other readers as well.
I got a IB SA job at one of the BBs. I am really excited about the summer and hope to turn the position into a full time offer. I have heard the basic and generic things that I should do like work hard, show up on time, be polite to everyone in the office, and ask [smart] questions.
What I am really looking for is some more specific and less obvious do's and don'ts. Maybe some examples of small things that have killed pastchances at an offer or helped there chances of getting an offer. I think it would be very interesting to here what VP's and MD's that make these offer/no offer decisions are looking for and what advice folks on here that have already gone through the SA process can give.
Thanks in Advance
