Not surprising dude. It's gonna be a tough year for class of 2013. Thankfully I'm not graduating this year.

Goldman's hiring for IBD at my target, though. They are probably be bombarded with applications since other places aren't hiring.

Also at target. 3 BBs, none are for IBD or S&T (middle office, think Risk and such). We do have some good PE/AM firms though?

Yeah, it's looking a little ugly at this point. Don't hang your heads however, shops still need slaves and to keep head count levels up so just keep y'alls eyes' out for new stuff on your job board. Things can change on a dime. Stuff can pop up next spring too.

I see only 2 IBD BB FT positions at my Ivy in NYC. A couple equity research jobs. No S&T. Everything else is tech and MO/BO shit. Funny thing is, the non-target I went to ugrad for still has a BB recruiting for S&T whereas my current Target has no S&T listings.

Is there some kind of shame in actually saying the name of the university?

I'm embarrassed b/c I go to Hunter College.

No, I just didn't want my school name to be directly associated with my username on this message board (eg. if someone searched "JDawg Hunter College" my name wouldn't show up). If you guys hadn't hidden your school names I would've said it directly though.
