How's the iPod policy at your workplace?

Is it acceptable to be listening to music while spreading comps?

depends what company

totally depends what bank. some don't mind, others allow it after a certain time, like 6pm once most of the mds are gone.

you'll have to check with another analyst.

I was told that I could

I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven, I told Bill that if Sandra is going to listen to her headphones while she's filing then I should be able to listen to the radio while I'm collating so I don't see why I should have to turn down the radio because I enjoy listening at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.

.

haha awesome

At my place you can listen

At my place you can listen to music whenever you want but I never really see anybody doing so before about 3pm. Then again that's when the day starts to drag a bit and is usually when I reach for mine. Listening to the radio is often interesting since it lets you escape to the outside world while still sitting in the office.

pandora.com is pretty cool,

pandora.com is pretty cool, plays songs based on your preferences. Although the songs it plays are pretty old.

Mine seems pretty chill

Mine seems pretty chill about it, at least I hope so, since I have my tunes blasting the entire day.

at all the places i've

at all the places i've worked, people were pretty chill about my listening to music through my earphones. nobody has ever given me grief about it, and i think that as long as you do your work and do it well, it seems like people are more likely to give you your space
