Onex Partners: Reputation? Culture?

Anybody know much about them? Reputation? Culture? Toronto vs. New York offices? At ~$4B, they're pretty big, but I don't hear much about them.

Very technical focused in the early rounds, culture is pretty uptight and intense in NY, especially compared to the Toronto office.

"For all the tribulations in our lives, for all the troubles that remain in the world, the decline of violence is an accomplishment we can savor, and an impetus to cherish the forces of civilization and enlightenment that made it possible."
