san fran tech m&a groups
Hey I was wondering if you guys could give me some insight.
- Are the best sf tech m&a groups still GS TMT/ms tech m&a/qatalyst/cs tech?
- I've heard cs tech is now like gs tmt in that they do all m&a inhouse. Is this true?
- In terms of growth equity placement, what other banks/groups in san francisco place well?
CS TMT is far from the 'best' right now...
GS / MS / LAZ / Q are tops.
Then you have other smaller banks such as evercore and lazard. everocre places pretty well, i dont see that many people from lazard sf going to buysides.
Ahhh! Ricqles, I accidentally hit the Shit button but meant to give you an SB! Very sorry, will give a few SBs to your posts on other threads to make up for it!
My bad man.
EDIT: I guess I was able to fix it... Enjoy the 4 free SBs I guess, haha!
Agreed with Ricqles. Pretty spot on from what I have seen. SB +1.
Ricqles thanks so much!!
I applied for a position at Qatalyst through their website (sent an email to [email protected] as they don't have an online application) last week and I am scheduled to "talk" with someone tomorrow. Anyone know if this is just a casual chat or should I prepare as I would for a phone interview?
If you have to ask something like this, you're probably not Qatalyst material. It will likely be one of your only chances with them, what could you possibly have to lose by being hyper-prepared?
If you want to be a winner, a good way to do it is by bringing a gun to every knife-fight.
why would you post this on WSO? not everyone they interview is from standford with a 770 gmat score.
A close buddy of mine from highschool is at Qatalyst, and I know he reads WSO daily...why would you ask such a stupid question?
Great! He should know what the phone call is about then. Can you point him to this thread so he can help answer my question? Thanks man.
Where does Barclays fit into all of this?
They fit in the "not located in SF" category.
Sorry didn't know this post was that specific. My bad.
What about the other EBs? Green hill, CVP, PWP?
