Flake introduced me to this, undoubtedly one of the best 'classic trance' (late 90s/ early 00s) songs I've heard:

Stream to 2:40.

"Economic history is a never-ending series of episodes based on falsehoods and lies. It represents the path to big money. The object is to recognize the trend whose premise is false, ride that trend, and step off before it is discredited."

I'm with this guy. I like "trouse," as one of the other guys in the last thread on electronic music called it. The trancier house we're starting to see blow up since 2010 is really my flavor of choice. I've been listening to Avicii for 2 years, glad to see him get major attention globally. Laidback Luke, Arty, Dada Life, Chuckie, even Afrojack. Tiesto's new stuff is getting away from his true roots too.

Yeah it's not trance at all but a total banger nonetheless. The only way to listen to it is with volume on full blast which is how I heard it the first time. If any of you are too impatient for the buildup then skip to 2:20.

I highly recommend afrojack but this is his best IMO
