(Updated Dec2) Is my resume associated with the plague or something?

Hey Guys,

Looking to go into entry level analyst positions at Consulting Firms and or decent BO jobs at a solid name. Interested in internships as well.

Im aware of how BO is looked upon. But marketing/ops for a good firm may be a good fit if i struggle with getting a Consulting gig

Could really use the advice. Thanks

(sorry for new post, trying to keep track of new advice for this attempt)

(I closed the other post to keep track of the new comments, this is the 3rd version ive posted after advice)

Yes ESPN is in Bristol. Worked for them while i was in undergrad. I have already applied to a few jobs there, but my main focus is trying to get into consulting.

Sports consulting? I mean its possible but you need to network and from the looks of it...doesn't seem like you've had much success in doing so.

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

Are you asking me if i worked in sports consulting for them or want to work in sports consulting? Either way, both answers are no. I was in their Statistics and Ananlysis Department for a year, and i want to try to crack into an entry level/internship at a smaller consultant firm.

Im just trying to nail down my resume before it goes out when I reach out to some more contacts I have. Cant send them a goofed resume.

Any advice/comments on the actual resume? Would be appreciated, thanks.

PS- Stop calling yourself a "playa". Graduate college first and grow up.

Dude, you studied Kinesiology and Sports Management. YOU graduate from REAL college first, Blastoise is a regular.

I would suggest looking into physical therapy programs with ur educational background, always job security in health professions make 50/hr I was going to do it but decided that chem and all those bs prereqs are useless and retarded for the real world and way too hard, lol

as for resume i think youll face a hard time even for BO, just due to resume/intersts not really geared towards finance unless u have great connections

But wat do i know im just a non target trying to get a job that ill enjoy myself

PT is way outta the bag. Most Masters programs arent what they used to be because the Doctorate of PT is now commonplace. Have 4 friends from UG going into DPT...

haha, Pretty interesting word choice for a guy who specifically started a thread to limit the amount of Pokemon battles that occur on this site...

lol I said to limit their 1v1 battles in that post - Blastoise and Venasaur post a hundred pages of battle - however, I didn't say that you can't make an allusion to pokemon here and there.
