sponsors is right. CS is basically the 3rd best BB. don't think industrials is that good here though. sponsors however is ridiculously good, best on the street.

I don't know about third best BB... I'd say GS, MS, and JPM are in front, but CS definitely leads the rest of the pack behind those 3... Top groups there are probably Sponsors, M&A, TMT, and Energy... though retail was #1 in M&A this year (read it on dealbook) and apparently Healthcare's had some ridiculous placements...

lindamasYeah I do and i'm in sponsors so f u all.

If you really are in Sponsors than damn right fuck them all. That is one of the most elite groups on the street.

James07I doubt that guy actually works at cs or in sponsors

That may, or may not, be true...but one thing's for sure, he isn't funny and, from what I've seen recently, contributes zero to WSO.

I had final rounds with credit suisse (standard questions) and the people are very nice and it is VERY diverse -- people from across the world, england, africa, etc. so the culture varies tremendously. that being said, i think it is probably the 4th bulge bracket after GS MS and JPM, and they have some very very strong groups

lindamasSorry CS finished hiring so don't bother. Classes are small and the target schools they go to are limited (alum networks and connections go a long way here).

and cpbravo i dont need to contribute shit, my life is set. bye.

i am from China and in Chinese we have this saying that goes like this: when the forest is big enough you can see all kinds of birds in it.

audaciou02Lindamas I would be careful with the things you say. I know quite a few people at CS and considering your junior status, you wouldn't want to burn bridges so early in your career.

What are you talking about? His life is set. Why would he care about bridges burned?!? Ohh, yeah, for the same reason he trolls a forum and degrades everyone that doesn't appear to meet his unverified and possibly fabricated standards.

If your life is set, then go away. This forum is about helping people make educated life decisions and your drivel does nothing but taint WSO's image to those just passing through and it hinders the great advice often given here.

Guest1655Ok heres a quick challenge for any troopers here. Identify and find out if LINDAMAS actuallys works for CS and then complain to CS about their bad apple 'employee'

This is still WSO, we don't have to act like 4chan here.

Ive worked with CS sponsors on a recent deal. They are legitimately and produce great work. But one call to the vp once we find out who he/she is and he/she's done. They are definitely not a cocky group and work hard. I'm sure thus behavior is not tolerated
