Hey everyone,
I need some advice here on getting into the investment banking industry. I immigrant to America when I was 15, and back then I didn't speak any English at all. My parents r not so well educated (high school diploma). I tried my best to fit in and catch up but still can't score well on my sat. I got full score on the math part but reading and writing really set me back a lot of points. After all I got into university at buffalo (not even slightly close to a target school) and I'm now doing the accounting ms program here. I have only a semester left till I graduate. I started trading the forex market since I got the accepted into the ms program and at that point I finally realized finance(specifically investment banking/hedge fund) is the career I really would love to pursue. I have done two internships but both r accounting related. So what can I do now to start developing my career in the finance industry. Thanks all for the advises.
