Partying Too Hard?

I like to drink and party hard, as I'm sure many of you guys do. I am a few years removed from college and defintely can't keep up like I used to.

After a long weekend or night of partying hard, my brain is absolutle mush for the next few days. Not just your regular hangover.

Any of you guys that can relate to this - do you have a cure or something that might help? I heard ginsinge extract might help with the 'mushy brain' feeling.

Stop drinking on an empty stomach....

A good general solution would be to keep your body in optimal shape so its better able to handle itself. Eat better (less hamburgers and pizza), work out a bit more, and drink tons of water. Don't end up like a slob.

Addinator37Pedialyte the next day. Alternatively, If your really bad just start chugging water and go to a sauna for about 15 minutes. Always works for me.
Wouldn't going to a sauna just dehydrate you more?

Well that's why your chugging water as well. I just find that chugging water and sweating out the alcohol works for me. For some reason my body responds well to the drink tons of water and pedialyte and then sweat it out.

Hahaha... so apparently hitting the sauna after a long night of drinking isn't exactly recommended for you... http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/12/30/hangover.remedies/index.html

Easiest and best cure I have ever found for a hangover is simple. It might be hard for some to implement, but if you do it, you will feel fine the next day. Right before you are about to pass out, drink a bunch of water. A quarter of a gallon would be preferred. When you wake up in the morning you will feel great because the water has diluted the alcohol in your system.

don't drink on an empty stomach, the darker the alcohol often the harder the hangover, hydrate before / during / after (being dehydrated causes a lot of the pain, particularly the headaches) and rest. never tried the sauna trick, maybe next time

to prevent a hangover, drink lots of water before you drink, after you drink take ibuprofen with a large glass of water

BoreedActually, I have found that drinking a few beers every night in good company is the best thing. Also, not mixing drinks when going all out.

No hangovers.

I find that sometimes I get (slightly) hungover the next day, even if I've only had a couple beers, but sometimes when I go out and get wasted, I wake up feeling fine the next day. Maybe it has something to do with the specific beers/drinks I'm drinking?

Before you drink take B-Complex, Nopal Cactus, Milk Thistle, Liv 52. When you wake up take Piracetam with Choline, Liv 52, Milk Thistle, Magnesium and drink green tea.

Two Advils and a glass of milk before you go to bed. Personally, I don't need to use any tricks, but I hear it works very well.
