NSFW Episode 1: QE2, Housing, Commodities

Well, guys, there you have it. Let us know what you think about the first episode.

The books we recommended were:
Economics in One Lesson: The Shortest and Surest Way to Understand Basic Economics
and
Assholes Finish First

Check 'em out, they're both great.

If there are any topics you want to see us cover, leave them in the comments.

If you are looking for honest feedback, the format is a bit creepy. For content, I would like to see more debate, rather than bringing up points that are not really challenged by the other party -- i.e. a bull and bear on each topic.

fdba Emory Blaine and BBA or otherwise trying to find the perfect pseudonym.

For a first attempt I thought it was decent, but obviously a lot to improve on....first, it was a bit awkward in the beginning which is understandable.......I kind of like the idea of remaining anonymous, but it was a little tough to hear you clearly through the mask (maybe my speakers just suck).....I think there needs to be more structure as the people above said..do it like PTI and have a list of like 5 topics to talk about (4 serious topics and maybe 1 funny story of the week) and keep it short, entertaining & debate against each other.....but keep it up, look forward to the next one....and good idea to add this to the site

Edmundo-I would like you to know that last night I got wasted and walked into a 7-11 to get a drink. Go to the cashier and I see a stack of your playboys lying on the floor behind the cashier. I say "Oh, and I'll take that Playboy too" What I did not realize was that a 12 yr old girl and her mother had gotten in line behind me (although don't know why they were there since it had to be 12am). I look behind me and see the shocked look on the mother's face and without missing a step...I lift up the mag and say "A good friend of mine wrote one of the articles, you should read it"..I then walkout like nothing unusual had happened.

On the video, solid first effort and I look forward to seeing more. Great Job.

"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."

Great video. Eddie, were you drinking some scotch there? (or maybe just some kool-aid?)

I'd like to hear more about your opinions on where rates are heading and the ensuing "war" in foreign exchange.

looking for that pick-me-up to power through an all-nighter?

Thanks. It was Mount Gay rum, actually, or as it is affectionately known in the Braverman household, "Kidz-B-Gon".

That's a great suggestion. I just finished writing a paper on that very subject for a European economics journal, so I have some thoughts on the matter (I know, shocker, right?).

I 2nd this. Thoughts on the currency war and then if possible - thoughts on the future movements of the majors.

Good show, gentlemen! Looking forward to the next edition.

And great article about you in Playboy, Eddie. I'll bring the rum, you bring the stories!

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"

Definitely a great start. Would love to see more of the major players here included as well, Monty, Anthony, etc.

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses - Henry Ford
