What's your guilty plea$ure?

As I understand it, most in IB/PE/HF are (naturally) fiscal and don’t piss away every penny that they make. That said, it seems that, by your late 20’s, you can be elevated to a level of income where you can throw a few grand at something without thinking twice.

Personally, I’m a tech freak, and I could see myself throwing cash at various types of gadgetry should I have the money (I’m guessing that technology will be pretty fucking advanced by the time I get a FT offer).

To those monkeys who have spent a few years in the industry, what is your weakness when it comes to ‘squandering’ your money?

most of the junior guys I work with care more about time than money when on vacation/travelling. but basically nobody takes even half their vacation days so this makes sense.

hookers & coke > you're doing it wrong

As for the furniture...it's a lot cheaper to get a nice car and bang them at their place, a nice apt just gives them more incentive to stay.

If the glove don't fit, you must acquit!

Saving up for expensive firearms. Ammo is such a waste of money. Aside from that, crappy sci fi novels and ties.

Stupid TV. I have watched multiple episodes of Castle/White Collar/Law & Order...I hate myself for doing it, but there just isn't enough good stuff out there.

How do you manage firearms in NY? Isn't getting a permit functionally impossible?

killfrankgoresheadWhere's the guy that drinks piss when you need him.
Can someone explain this one? I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I disagree ... I'm on the same page: Where's the guy that drinks piss when you need him?

Meant to add Love Actually. I'm not trying to show anything. This is an anonymous message board so I don't really have anything to show or prove. This thread is about guilty pleasures. Which means things you like but feel guilty about liking.

Not in NY. Also, even if you're in NY, doesn't mean you can't get guns. Just cant carry them around legally. Even then, you can carry them around, so long as you don't get caught. Safety comes first.

Animalz, why do you have a picture of (musashi?) as your avatar?

Online poker, cooking classes and dance lessons (awesome thing to do on a date). I love dancing my phat ass off. I just need to loosen up my white, stiff joints.

Since I have a deal with my wife that I won't get my pilots license and join a flying club until I make Director, I'm considering a cheaper older car. The only problem is I don't know how to fix anything on them.
