Yet he couldn’t remember the last time he... How to Develop a Personality |

That's a ridiculous umbrella
That's a ridiculous umbrella statement to make. There are plenty of people in any industry (not limited to finance) who came into their stride late in the game academically. By that I mean they didn't figure out what they wanted or developed a real sense of ambition. Just because someone doesn't start studying for the SAT by their 6th birthday doesn't mean they're an idiot.

Nope, I accepted a job at a BB for FT in October. Nice try though. This was inspired by all of the posts that say "I made it!!!" and proceed to talk about how they broke in with terrible GPAs. I'm not even close to jealous LOL
I will do my 2 years and get into an M7 when I decide to go and continue on with my life.
As a STEM major I feel people
As a STEM major I feel people like the OP are not very enlightened (see: retarded). They feel really highly of themselves (falsely) because they did really well in their "business" major. Take a real math/CS class and you'll be humbled. Don't look down upon others when it is really easy for others to look down upon you.
I worked for a MM boutique a while ago and the MD told me that the biggest mistake a lot of intelligent people in finance make later on is treating people who are not as smart as them unequally. I hope you find yourself in a situation in the future where your arrogance blatantly insults a client/an MD and you learn a lesson.
