Never make decisions when you're angry, never make promises when you're happy.

Consumption smoothing is retarded. If you stay in this game for a handful of years, money will be the least of your worries. Live it up, because this is the one time in your life where you might actually have time to spare.

big for your britches

don't know your ass from a hole in the ground

that dog will hunt

pot calling the kettle black

six in one, half dozen in the other

wish in one hand, shit the other, see which one fills up first

and then a few idiotic business ones

level set

low hanging fruit

on my radar

par for the course

touch base

Fucked up to be damned Raising all manners of hell Wheels off Clown car of fuckery Shot across the bow Deck chair off the Titanic Move the needle Throwin it from the cheap seats Misery loves company Cologne of desperation Couldn't sell their way out of a bag It is not your job to close the buffet, she will close it Ohh that girl will cut you (a compliment) Given it a good college try Right in the thick of the curve

This could go on and on

Rarely will any of my posts have enough forethought/structure to be taken seriously.

(Going) to Hell in a handbasket FUBAR

  • I've used this a few times for when things have overshot the mark by a wide margin. Shaken, not stirred. - So much bad science and brilliant marketing for this one is just ruining great drinks for everyone. Not that it's a banking one in particular, just one that pisses me off in general. Don't know shit from Shinola

Not gonna lie, there is one that I'd love to see used more often - "Now go do, that voodoo that you do so well." - to end a meeting with.
