HSBC), and Deloitte.  He combines strong technical expertise with hands-on deal experience, having led complex projects for senior executives and shareholders. Terrance Curry is a finance professional specializing in private credit and asset-based lending. He currently works in an originations role at MidCap Financial, where he focuses on developing sponsor relationships and structuring flexible capital solutions across cash flow and asset-based facilities.

Prior to MidCap, Mr. Curry worked at BNP Paribas in corporate banking coverage, supporting large-cap industrial clients on financing and capital markets transactions, and began his career at Citi in its Sales & Trading program.

He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from New York University.

Mr. Pointer was elected a director on August 4, 2015.  Mr. Pointer was named Chairman of the Board on July 22, 2016, and also serves as a member on the Nominating Committee and Compensation Committee.  Mr. Pointer is the founder and managing partner of VI Capital Management, LLC (“VICM”). VICM was founded on January 1, 2008, and was the general partner for VI Capital Fund, LP, a value-oriented investment limited partnership, until its liquidation in November 2023. VICM offers strategic and corporate governance consulting services, as well as investment research services for a private investor.  Prior to founding VICM, Mr. Pointer served as Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for ICM Investment Management (“ICM”). Prior to ICM, Mr. Pointer served as a Portfolio Manager for Invesco, Inc., where he worked with a senior partner in managing two mutual funds with assets in excess of $15 billion. David T. Sánchez is a venture capital advisor and ecosystem builder specializing in helping tech and scientific founders become investment-ready and successfully raise capital. As Founder & Director of Launch LATAM, he works closely with early- and growth-stage startups on valuation, financial modeling, milestone planning, and fundraising strategy, supporting 200+ ventures across Latin America. His experience spans corporate venture capital at Bimbo Ventures, where he conducted startup research and valuation, monitored joint venture performance, and developed investment materials for C-level decision-making—contributing to investments in two startups that later became unicorns. He also played a key role at Tec de Monterrey’s IEEGL, designing and leading Investment Readiness Programs that guided startups through due diligence, investor targeting, and capital raising processes.

Beyond advisory, David is deeply involved in building and connecting the Latin American startup ecosystem. He serves as Mexico City Chapter Lead for LaFamilia Foundation, where he fosters relationships between founders and global investors, and actively collaborates with venture funds, accelerators, and ecosystem partners across the U.S. and LATAM. With a background in economics from Tecnológico de Monterrey and further specialization in finance and entrepreneurship at Yale, his work focuses on helping founders think like investors, build venture-backable companies, and navigate fundraising with clarity, discipline, and strategic intent.
