Equity research scene in Paris
First post ever. Is anyone in this forum familiar with the equity research scene in Paris, France? I am having a big issue understanding how recruiting works here and how you can effectively get your application visible for an internship. I have been looking around for a specific list or ranking of...
Do I jump ship?
All, I wanted to get some advice Currently work in MBB consulting as an industry specific researcher (back-office role) 1Y+1M - however, I have been predominantly been working as a front-office consultant role (client facing, staffed to teams) would say 80% of the time I've been here. Good vs Bad Equity Research Reports?
I've seen multiple people on this site state that 90% of the ER reports they read are shit. Can anyone explain the reasoning behind the shit status and what puts a report in the top 10% as opposed to the bottom 90%? I would've asked the members who said it but the original threads were a bit dated.
