Best MM PE Firms for B-School Exits?
I'm strongly considering pursuing the traditional 2+2+2 path and was wondering if there were any particular MM PE firms that have exception or outsized b-school admissions? Especially for H/S/W.
Montagu PE London?
Any thoughts on Montagu PE in London? Know they are raising fund seven at the moment, but any thoughts on them in general would be appreciated! Specifically how they compare against other MM PE incl. Inflexion, Bridgepoint, Livingbridge, ECI, etc.
Consulting -> Non-traditional MBA -> Deal team
Former T2 management/strategy consultant currently doing PE Ops consulting at a small boutique. Dipped my toes into a small deal execution project (helped build out LBO model, pitch deck, managed data room, and supported DD process) once by chance and really liked it and want to pivot to PE/VC deal...
Huron Capital
Restarting this chain as a place people can talk about their experiences at Huron Capital Partners (Detroit based PE fund). Not sure what happened to the previous chain (although I can guess). There was an extensive (very negative) discussion of this firm that had been on this site for many years...
Middle market investment bank (FIG) or early-stage LMM private equity shop?
I recently received an offer from a very well known (but not top-tier) middle market investment bank within their FIG group (one of the top groups in the space). I've been interning for an early-stage LMM private equity shop over the last semester, and when I brought up my offer, they noted they...

Decision
Hey everyone. I wanted to get some advice here. Sophomore here. I will have to make this decision quite soon, so I wanted to get some opinions ahead of time. I have the opportunity to join a MM PE firm for next summer (then FT) that is growing rapidly right now, and I believe there will be...
I Gave Up on Buyside Recruiting - Dropping Prep Materials + Technicals
Hello fellow monkeys. Recently, I decided to give up on buyside recruiting and stay on as an Associate in IB. I realized I simply didn't want it enough and just ran out of energy to dedicate to the search. I've also frankly enjoyed my time in IB a lot and look forward to continuing my path here. A...
Mid-Market PE Valuations: Where Up is Down
With U.S. stock markets near record highs, and M&A activity on-track for another big year, there has been much commentary about whether markets have once again detached from intrinsic value. By and large, the labour market has returned to normality, the housing market has recovered, and consumers...
MM IB -> MM PE -> M7??
What are the chances of getting into an M7 following this route? Assuming a 720+ GMAT, 3.9+ non-target UG GPA, non-URM. Do they look at these applicants as second-tier or do they like to take people interested in MM careers? Also, do MM PE shops generally sponsor MBAs?
Is this a pipe dream?
Made this account for (further) anonymity. Wanted to run a situation across you guys.
