Most of the info I could find online is outdated so just wanted some insight - Just curious about which industry groups they are strong in Europe - why them over PJT/EVR/CVP? - what are the stand out points in terms of culture - How strong are their restructuring group? Thanks in advance

Hi Chaps, Got a lateral coming up for PWP London, A1-3. Looking for input on interview specifics to PWP and anything with regard to PWP in London would be superb. Obviously I've got tech Qs covered off, but mainly looking for style, brain teasers and approach. Again, cognizant of the fact that it depends on who's on the opposite side of the table, but humor me. Cheers, GGB p.s. saw this (http://www.wallstreetoasis[dot]com/forums/ perella-weinberg-partner-london-2nd-round) thread, it doesn't offer much

I was wondering if it is harder to land an offer from an elite boutique (Lazard, Moelis, Perella Weinberg, etc) or from a Bulge Bracket (Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, BofA Merrill Lynch, etc)?

Does anyone have any info on Perella Weinberg's SF office? I've heard a little about the NY and London offices, but it doesn't look like SF has been doing any deals. I know the office was just started about 18 months ago or so, and sometimes it can take a while to get things through the pipeline. But many tech offices have opened up around the same time and have worked on some pretty compelling deals (Qatalyst advised on Data Domain/ EMC, Brocade/Foundry; Allen recently broke into the consumer web space; even Union Square has done a few). Am really looking to pursue something with the firm, so

Heard from friend that you need to submit a weekly timesheet at Perella Weinberg to the staffer on the projects you are working on each week and the estimated time spent on each. As a result, many analysts don't want to "overbook" their hours and end up killing themselves and go beyond their staffing capacity (ie. 90 hours on paper turns into 120+ hours actually worked). Anyone else think this is a stupid system? Also, please confirm that headhunters are completed fended off and analysts do not have access to exit opps. Thanks.

'Perella Weinberg Partners, the investment bank founded by Joe Perella and Peter Weinberg, is seeking to pursue a long-awaited public listing through merging with a blank-check firm' (via Bloomberg) Thoughts?

Choosing from: PWP, DB, and Rothschild I am from a semi-target trying and was lucky enough to get 3 SA offers, all NYC Which would you pick in terms of deal experience, prestige, exit opps?

These are the two offers I'm down to right now... thoughts? I'm leaning towards Perella. Summer analyst class of 5, give offers to basically every person who has done a summer there, growing firm more responsibility, more exposure to senior management (both at PWP and with their clients)... But am willing to hear other opinions

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knew the Perella Weinberg email format? According to this forum it's [email protected] ([email protected]) but I tried that for several people I found on linkedin and they all bounced. Has Perella updated their email address format/what is the correct one?

Hi everyone, I have a second round in-person interview with a VP from Perella Weinberg. What kinds of questions should I expect? How can I best prepare? Thanks for all your help, HS

Hey, Interviewed for final rounds 3+ weeks ago at perella and still haven't heard any thing. They obviously gave out some offers, but is this necessarily a bad thing at this point or does it just mean I'm on a waitlist? Anyone have any info. on perella or general offer info? thanks.

I am interested in Perella Weinberg and I have noticed that in many deals they are keen on advising target companies' board of directors (Continental directors on Schaeffler's bid, UST directors on Altria's bid...). I would like to know how you view getting an advisory mandate from a board of directors rather from an executive commitee. Is it kind of a consolation prize or not? Are fees for such mandates comparable to fees for advising executives commitees? And is the job for junior bankers similar in both cases? Any input welcome!

Heard this from several people. Anyone know if this is true? I read in that front page article in the WSJ the other day they were advising Reliance on their bid for Lyondell, but didn't know they were advising Hershey as well? Anyone know anything about this?

Hello, Does anyone know if Evercore, PWP, and HLHZ are still recruiting for 2010 FT analyst positions? Or, perhaps, it is too late in the game? I attend a school where these firms do not recruit on campus, thus the inquiry. Thanks!

Hey guys- I'm currently choosing between these three junior summer internship offers: Morgan Stanley leveraged finance internship, Perella Weinberg advisory internship, and Apollo credit internship. I've been at MS for a couple summers now in a different division and I really like it there (I'm comfortable there, love the people/culture, etc.), but was wondering if people can speak about the leveraged finance group at MS specifically along with PWP and Apollo in general. If anyone can give me some more color on any of these companies/those specific groups I would really appreciate it. Thank
