Illegal Street Racing on Resume?

Hey everyone,

I used to meet with a pretty big group of street racing clubs when I was younger ('07-'09). I've been in drag races, circuits in the city, and general debauchery of the racing sort.

I never got arrested, but I have had my car impounded a few times. I don't do any of this any more, but I'm big on automotive tuning.

How do I put this on my resume? Instead of just "automotive tuning," how do I further qualify this in my interests?

This. If you're interviewing for a less than respectable bucket shop, you could put it on. In that case, also add the following to boost your street cred: * Inter business family liason * Tactical utility distributer * Controlled substances purveyor * Execution specialist * Companionship consultant * Political lobbyist for fledgeling international business interests * UN booster

What the hell, go for broke.

I would definitely want to get someone like that in for interview!!

You should definitely make sure you have your MPH stats on there as well..ie your running MPH and your highest MPH you've hit while racing....oh, and definitely mention if you have a sub 10 second car

In all seriousness, just keep "automotive tuning" on there. I put autocrossing on my resume, and people always asked about it.

I'll bite. What the fuck is "autocrossing"?

It's a timed race (one at a time) on a road track, usually with cones you have to weave in and out of in a specific pattern.

Hey everyone,

I used to meet with a pretty big group of street fighting clubs when I was younger ('07-'09). I've been in cage matches, ancient style thai boxing matches with glass covered gloves, fights to the death and general debauchery of the violent sort.

I never got arrested, but I have been given warnings for not registering my hands as deadly weapons a few times. I don't do any of this any more, but I'm big on krav maga.

How do I put this on my resume? Instead of just "no holds barred street fighting," how do I further qualify this in my interests?

Damn dude, never would have guessed! When I need a bouncer at my bar, you're hired.

I wish more and more people like you apply next year.

Either Autocross or Gymkhana would be great examples... like this one...

Or this if you have the time and desire to do a mountain style autocross... like this:
