Haven't found a brand that fits me better yet.

Seriously why all the fashion advice lately?
ralph lauren big ponys are probably the best.
Only Lacoste touches this skin. But really, I feel like polos are only acceptable if you're golfing or it's 120 degrees out.
Brooks Brothers slim fit polos
Brooks Brothers slim fit fits me the best. Athletic frame, some mass
Vineyard Vines, in my opinion, are made for people with bigger waists. I like Burberry and Lacoste
I like Brooks Bros. I'm usually a large, but I found that their "traditional fit" in medium fits me best (large traditional fit = too big, large slim fit = a little too tight). Lacoste is also good but I don't think the material is as substantive and the tail isn't long enough.
JPress is also great, esp. if you don't want a logo.
jcrew is good
VV runs quite large in my opinion. For tops I size down a full size. Pants and shorts are accurately sized... i like broken-in polos from j crew. Very comfortable, reasonably priced, and not pretentious at all.
Sunspel
Banana republic, j. crew or ck. Wear whatever feels and fits on you the best, a polo is a polo. As long as it doesn't have an ugly dragon emblem on it, you are good to go.
Lacoste, Ben Sherman, and Penguin, mostly.
ralph lauren custom fit
Peter Millar
lol, bankers have no fashion sense at all. Yes, go waste your money on polos that are not in fashion and were made for the demographic "60 year old, boring, white male".
We can't all be Canadians restructuring stock portfolios for our father's small business.
I can get my athletic polo shirt from Adidas i might think one of the best brand in giving polo shirts .Few days back i shop Adidas athletic polo for my couzin he told me that was an awesome gift keeps my body relaxes fro the whole day.
Ralph Lauren custom fit for me. I find they allow me to frat the hardest.
Lacoste via Nordstrom's and any other retailer that carries them. There are seasonal colors that get sold on clearance 4 times per year for 1/2 price.
Polo shirts should never be worn unless you are playing golf, tennis, or any similar sport. Just wear a god damn sports shirt and role your sleeves up.
I don't wear Polos.
Polo Shirts are really good on me and even thought i don't have favorite band polo are my favorite attire.
Love to wear Polos or i would like to say Athletic polos from Adidas & Hanes because of their life reliability and even they available in a fitted size that a body required.
Polo Ralph Lauren custom fit are my favorite. They come in virtually every color you can imagine, fit very well and are simply classic. Good prices as well. Retail at $85, but you can regularly get them from $45 or less during their sales. The only problem with them for me is that the collars get floppy after repeated washes - Lacoste is a lot better in this department (but more expensive and a bit more of a crapshoot in terms of fit and sizing).
I don't have any, but I have heard very good things about Kent Wang polos.

Apparently some of the best you can get in terms of fit and construction. I've been meaning to order one some time.
I hate ralph lauren.
I much prefer Vineyard Vines. Their polos are sized up to fit much more "casually" instead of being a slim fit.
Other than that, I don't really wear polo shirts. I more often wear my golf polos.
For work in hot climates:
Penguin Polo Lacoste
For someone looking to be a little more stylish, get one from multiple other brands: in a slim fit, solid color, no logo. Many to choose from.
Lacoste is my favorite, I can't get enough of them. I feel Lacoste has the highest standard of quality in their polo shirts. Just my opinion.
Most people will probably say Ralph Lauren, but I am fairly short and slightly stocky with an athletic build and the polo custom fits don't fit me at all. The small is too small and the medium is too long. My favorite polo are J Crew polos
Polos are a dying breed. Opt for a button down instead.
Banana Republic or Ralph Lauren for me. BR polos fit awesome and go super cheap (I just picked up 2 slim fit polos for only $25 after tax).
What about colors? Light blues/orange/green acceptable on a college campus?
Personally, going light with some khaki pants + sperry's makes me feel like the fucking man.
Original Penguin, Heritage fit
What polo shirts do you buy? (Originally Posted: 07/12/2014)
Sick of ralph lauren polos shrinking on me and being tight in the arms, so where do you buy your polos? Also not a fan of vineyard vines think they're built for people with bigger waists than me
Brooks Brothers
Brooks Bros, Izod, Banana makes some nice ones but they seem to not stay consistent year to year. I wish Polo would fix the arms. I'm not a bodybuilder but I'm pretty athletically shaped and the arms on Polo's are so freaking tight unless I buy a 3x, which then looks like I'm wearing a mumu.
Agreed. The Ralph Lauren Polo shirts look like you're trying to be tight shirted, Jersey Shore muscled out. I'm really picky they all fit bad. Actually Vineyard Vines fit the best but I'm trying to get away from logos.
BR vintage/luxe ones.
Lacoste polos tend to fit me pretty well. I have a really odd frame too.
Sunspel my favorite polo by a wide margin.
Lacoste is good, but you have to treat them with care or they'll shrink on you. Burberry is good too and they hold up well in the wash, but they're overpriced IMO and only worth it at a discount.
I've heard very good things about these Kent Wang polos, but I've never tried one. Look very promising though.

Jcrew does the trick
vineyard vines, polo, brooks bros for casual polos. Im a skinnier guy and I actually really like the fit of VV and dont find it to be too big or baggy like some may suggest.
for active wear/ golf polos, nike and lululemon are real comfortable.
Peter Millar
are you in the South too?
Southern Tide & BB for non golf shirts, all over the place for golf shirts.
I would keep an eye our for fabric weight too, especially in the summer--depends on your build and stomach/chest situation. Lighter weight fabrics tend to cling too much around pudgy areas. Midweight fabrics with a bit of structure alleviate that issue.
Apart from polo shirts you can go for street shirts from Two Square Clothing.
Giordano, Arnold Palmer, Massimo Dutti
Southern Tide
I've tried Polo, Brooks Brothers, Vineyard Vines, Castaway, and J Crew... New favorite by far is Southern Marsh.
In my closet are some JCrew polos, Banana Republic & Lacoste.
I'll be the dissenting opinion and say that I actually enjoy my polo Ralph Lauren polo shirts - custom fit seem to fit me the best - classic are too baggy / long,
When you wash the shirts, you have to hang them and let them air dry. Otherwise they will shrink. Learned this the hard way with several lactose and RL polos
Lacoste even though they suck. Have a couple Peter Millar and those are looking to be the new go to.
Merona. Poverty polo time.
Vineyard Vines. Gotta do it so you can get the pink whale laptop sticker.
Brooks Brothers, Southern Tide, Southern Marsh, & Coast
I honestly like Brooks Brothers better than Ralph Lauren; they seem to last longer and fit me better (Red Fleece fit). As long as the shirt fits properly and doesn't look old and faded - you're good.

Some of the J Crew soft polos (not pique) is decent. The BB polos fit best but are short (Lacoste style). I know a skinny German guy who swears by the Hugo Boss Orange polos (they do sell solids despite all the department stores stock looking like the side of a racecar).
