I like Brooks Bros. I'm usually a large, but I found that their "traditional fit" in medium fits me best (large traditional fit = too big, large slim fit = a little too tight). Lacoste is also good but I don't think the material is as substantive and the tail isn't long enough.

JPress is also great, esp. if you don't want a logo.

lol, bankers have no fashion sense at all. Yes, go waste your money on polos that are not in fashion and were made for the demographic "60 year old, boring, white male".

We can't all be Canadians restructuring stock portfolios for our father's small business.

Very crafty, you found the track button -- your IB skills are paying off. Seriously though, these suggestions were terrible -- Brooks Brothers? J Crew? Wtf, are these people 90 year old virgins? Lacoste is fine though, good job!

I can get my athletic polo shirt from Adidas i might think one of the best brand in giving polo shirts .Few days back i shop Adidas athletic polo for my couzin he told me that was an awesome gift keeps my body relaxes fro the whole day.

Polo shirts should never be worn unless you are playing golf, tennis, or any similar sport. Just wear a god damn sports shirt and role your sleeves up.

Love to wear Polos or i would like to say Athletic polos from Adidas & Hanes because of their life reliability and even they available in a fitted size that a body required.

Polo Ralph Lauren custom fit are my favorite. They come in virtually every color you can imagine, fit very well and are simply classic. Good prices as well. Retail at $85, but you can regularly get them from $45 or less during their sales. The only problem with them for me is that the collars get floppy after repeated washes - Lacoste is a lot better in this department (but more expensive and a bit more of a crapshoot in terms of fit and sizing).

I don't have any, but I have heard very good things about Kent Wang polos.

Apparently some of the best you can get in terms of fit and construction. I've been meaning to order one some time.

For work in hot climates:

Penguin Polo Lacoste

For someone looking to be a little more stylish, get one from multiple other brands: in a slim fit, solid color, no logo. Many to choose from.

Lacoste is my favorite, I can't get enough of them. I feel Lacoste has the highest standard of quality in their polo shirts. Just my opinion.

Brooks Bros, Izod, Banana makes some nice ones but they seem to not stay consistent year to year. I wish Polo would fix the arms. I'm not a bodybuilder but I'm pretty athletically shaped and the arms on Polo's are so freaking tight unless I buy a 3x, which then looks like I'm wearing a mumu.

Agreed. The Ralph Lauren Polo shirts look like you're trying to be tight shirted, Jersey Shore muscled out. I'm really picky they all fit bad. Actually Vineyard Vines fit the best but I'm trying to get away from logos.

"Where is Knight?"

vineyard vines, polo, brooks bros for casual polos. Im a skinnier guy and I actually really like the fit of VV and dont find it to be too big or baggy like some may suggest.

for active wear/ golf polos, nike and lululemon are real comfortable.

"My name's Ralph Cox, and I'm from where ever's not gonna get me hit"

I'll be the dissenting opinion and say that I actually enjoy my polo Ralph Lauren polo shirts - custom fit seem to fit me the best - classic are too baggy / long,

When you wash the shirts, you have to hang them and let them air dry. Otherwise they will shrink. Learned this the hard way with several lactose and RL polos

I honestly like Brooks Brothers better than Ralph Lauren; they seem to last longer and fit me better (Red Fleece fit). As long as the shirt fits properly and doesn't look old and faded - you're good.

Some of the J Crew soft polos (not pique) is decent. The BB polos fit best but are short (Lacoste style). I know a skinny German guy who swears by the Hugo Boss Orange polos (they do sell solids despite all the department stores stock looking like the side of a racecar).
