I reached out to the analyst that was on the hiring team. Within 30 minutes, he asked me to come in that day for an interview. It was a 1 on 1 interview that was more conversational in the beginning and ended with an in-person case.
Interview Questions
Questions included:
1) Why didn't any of your internships turn into a full time offer?
2) what do you think makes a great business?
3) tell me about an investment mistake you made?
4) Why do you want to work here?
5) What is your edge? What sets you apart from other candidates?
There was alot of discussion about donut shops and restaurant businesses since the interviewer recently diligenced restaurants and the fund has burger king and other franchised business investments.
The case was about franchisors and franchisees and how much leverage you recommend putting on each.
