Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Easy generally but also somewhat tricky interms of the technocal questions they asked on the texh intwrview
Interview Questions
Probabally the hardest questipn they asked was how depreciation schedules work and to walk through a double accelerated depreciation schedule. Granted it is a pretty simple queation but I havnt taken accounting in years and did not properly know how to formulate the technicalities of the schedule. That said, I was pretty glad that they did not have me walk through an m&a because that would definitely have thrown me way off in the interview. Definitely underprepared and need to take the interview more seriously.

Interview
I contacted them through cold-calling. I have been cold-calling dozens of investment banking firms in the bay area for the past few months. After some calls and emails I convinced them enough to give me a shot to interview for a summer intern position. Interview was pretty standard and concerned more about fit. Also they asked questions like how many piano technicians are in NYC, etc. Thought I nailed it, but I guess I overestimated my chances.
Interview Questions
They asked me a lot of questions about situations where I managed stress and uncooperative coworkers. They also had questions like the classic lily pad and how many piano technicians are in NY.
