Interview
My first round interview was a 30 minute behavioral over zoom with an associate at the firm. It wasn't too hard they asked me about some things on my resume, my favorite class, why PE, what is PE, why Advent, etc. I'm in the process of my second round interviews. They are 2 30 minute interviews one is another behavioral and the other is a consulting like case study. I already did the behavioral on Tuesday and my case study is Thursday. The behavioral wasn't too bad; again they asked about some things on my resume, my hobbies, what an LBO is, 3 qualities that make a good business, etc. I'm preparing for the case study tomorrow so I've been going over consulting frameworks. I'm guessing they will just ask me if we should invest in company x.
Interview Questions
They asked me to describe in three qualitative or quantitive values what makes s business succeed. Even the interviewer as he was reading the question seemed a bit confused by it. It's not that it was a hard question it just threw me off a bit because of how open ended it was and I didn't really know how to sum it up in one word.

Interview
Completed the first round of interviews. I was asked the basics of private equity, LBOs, etc. They also probed my background and past work experience a bit. The interviewer I had was very nice and cultivated a relaxing environment for the conversation. The second round will have a behavioral and technical portion.
Interview Questions
Everything I was asked was relatively standard and expected. In addition to asking what is PE, what is an LBO, etc, they did ask a few questions about projects I've worked on in the past to assess my engagement and understanding of them, but that was it.

Interview
I had two zoom calls. The first was a 30 minute behavioral interview. Second round was two thirty minute interviews. 1 Behavioral 1 Case interview. The case interview wasnt super technical, but knowing how to give a technical answer helped me a lot.
Interview Questions
They threw 1 or 2 random behavioral questions. They also leave a lot of time for questions during the first behavioral interview.
Q that caught me most off guard was "What was your favorite, least favorite, and hardest subject"
, What is an LBO?
