I networked with multiple investment bankers in the area and one of them referred me to Allegiance Capital, a boutique investment bank. So he introduced me to a senior investment banker at Allegiance over email and we had a few emails back and forth and talked on the phone for 30 minutes or so. He asked me to send him my resume and that he would talk to his team about seeing if they needed any help. A week later, he called me back and asked me to come in a meet with him and a few other bankers with the firm. So the next week, I went in for an interview and met with 3 senior bankers and an associate. Most of the questions were behavioral with only a few technical questions so it wasn't too hard. A few weeks went by and then I got an offer.
