Interview
The interview process was a straightforward process. It began with a phone screening interview. I then interviewed with the debt team and equity team separately. I was given an Excel skills assessment to complete which was followed by a final one on one interview with the hiring manager.
Interview Questions
The modeling exam was difficult because many assumptions had to be made. An offering memorandum and market study was provided, so synthesizing all that information in a constrained time was difficult.

Phone Interview
Interview
1st round interview was given by an HR recruiter over the phone. Mainly questions about my strengths, examples of problems I had solved in the past and how I had handled difficult situations. Was not very difficult. 2nd round interview was by member of the Risk Group also over the phone. He asked 3-4 technical questions, and much more complex problem solving questions. This was much more difficult.
