Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
I received an email just one or two days after my application. And I was asked to answer a few behavioral questions.
Interview Questions
Questions are basic, 1) Why do you want to be an investment banker? 2) What do investment banks do (the firm as a whole)? 3) What is your outlook for the economy? 4) Tell me about any deal you have been following. 5) (Optional) Tell me about any deal between two companies that you would "pitch" to an investment banking client. And they require you to respond in two days. After that, a task would be given to test your financial modeling skill. You may be asked to do some research and valuation regarding one company

Interview
I applied online when I found the job posting on Glassdoor. Heard back and was asked to answer a few general questions.
Interview Questions
The first email I heard from them included these questions: 1) What do investment bankers do? 2) Why do you want to be an investment banker? 3) What is your outlook for the economy? 4) Tell me about any deal you have been following. 5) (Optional) Tell me about any deal between two companies that you would "pitch" to an investment banking client i.e. we think you should buy this company and here are a few reasons.
After I submitted those questions, the recruiter asked me to fulfill a technical task but in the same email included the program that would cost 1k to participate in. Mr. Bloom strongly suggested that if I were to be selected, I'd have to participate in the program.

Interview
I sent an email to the recruiting manager with my resume. Got sent back an email with behavioral questions. Asked to do a comparable valuation analysis afterwards.
Interview Questions
They asked the following questions: What do investment bankers do? Why do you want to be an investment banker? What is your outlook for the economy? Tell me about any deal you've been following. Tell me about any deal between two companies that you would "pitch" to an investment banking client i.e. we think you should buy this company and here are a few reasons (This deal can be cross-border or domestic. The deal should be viable for financial and/or strategic reasons. Remember this is a new idea from you - not a deal that has been done or one that is in progress). I thought the hardest question was the one asking me to pitch a deal.

Cold emailed in, got replied with a request for a resume and then the second email assigning a series of behavioral Qs.
Interview Questions
The first unexpected question was What is your outlook for the economy? The first thing came to my mind was the question that was given to Abby Cohen, former GS chief economist. She was known as a "bull" and was still quite positive about where we are and where we are headed last time I got the chance to hear from her.

The other one which is a little bit difficult for me was what are the two main ways that Wall Street measures whether an acquisition or merger will be successful? I've never touched this question before and not sure if I did well.

I found this internship opening online. I had a few emails back and forth with the company and had a skype interview. The interview is mostly behavioral.
Interview Questions
After I introduced myself and explained why I wanted to go to investment banking, I mentioned my interest in M&A and then I was asked to** go through an M&A deal you have been following**. I did read a lot about AT&T's attempt to acquire Time Warner. However, answer a question like this during an interview is still very challenging. I answered the questions in the following format:

- Overview of the transaction
- Management's Opinion
- Capital Structures ( 50/50 cash and stock in this case)
- My own opinion on synergies

Interview
Somehow Mr.Bloom got my email saying i have been selected for the interview. The email gave the overview of the program/internship and I set up a phone interview after that.
Interview Questions
Mr. Bloom basically just asked why I wanted to do investment banking and after that he started "selling" me his program. It is basically a program that requires you to pay $800 and then you will get training material. He said after training you can do internship. It was off for me after he said I have to pay to work. Seemed sketchy.

Talked with Jack Bloom after answering to his Craigslist job. He didnt ask me anything about my background but talked about is PDP program. Also showed me emails over skype of the students that learned under him and how they were from ivy schools. Seems to target asians

In a nutshell, hes trying to convince you to take his "course" for about $800
Interview Questions
Tell me about yourself. Besides that he didnt ask any other question he just delved into talking about his program. If you seem unsure, he comes off a bit rude and uninterested
