Summer Analyst Interview - Private Equity
The behavioral questions were mainly the basic questions you'd expect from an interviewer wanting to learn about you. They would frame general questions to be more specific about the firm itself. For example, they want to know your strengths/weaknesses but ask it in a way that's about the job description specifically. There were some niche behaviorals that you'll have to take a second to think about and recall specifics from your story bank to try to tie to. They want every answer to tie to their "people driven" motto, so definitely come across as sociable.
Overall, from my chats with workers there, the office culture seems very competitive, and is definitely an "eat what you kill" type of place.
Overall I enjoyed the people I spoke with and definitely think it is a great company. I was initially drawn to them by their CEO Graham Weaver and became more interested after speaking to associates there who absolutely love their job and seem like they want to continue their careers there.
