Interview
First, I had an interview with 1 analyst and 1 PM. Half of it was background/behavioral and the other half was my stock pitch and questions. After that, had a super day consisting of 6 back to back interviews, each 45 minutes. Basically the entire team is trying to get to know you. They will all ask for a stock pitch (it can be the same) and there is also an assignment they give you where you basically have 1 week to submit a stock pitch of a name they assign you.

Interview
There was an initial call with a recruiter who asked me about my interest in the firm and the industry; based on my interests she referred me to several positions as well as another recruiter. The next round was a one on one with the manager of the team and consisted of solely behavioral questions. The third and final round was a group interview with the manager once again as well as another member of the team and consisted of largely behavioral questions once again.
Interview Questions
No questions were particularly difficult. I was surprised when I was asked to teach a specific concept during the final round interview, but it did not really seem to be a question with a lot of stake to it.

Interview
The hiring process was relatively brief and lasted around two weeks in total. I applied to the internship online after I found the job description on Indeed or some other job board. After sending in my application mid-fall, I received an interview request about a month later. The first interview was just a conversation with the main intern recruiter regarding my background, company culture, and what I can generally expect as an intern at American Century. Our call lasted less than 30 minutes and I think the purpose was more to redirect me to the person who managed the role I was interested in. I then had another call with the leader of the team I chose to work with, in which they asked about my background and went over the specifics of their internship program.
Interview Questions
There were no questions that were unusual or meant to challenge me in some way. I did not have any technical questions either. I think they had almost already chosen me for the position before the interview. The hardest question was probably just answering why I was interested in working for them.
