Interview Questions
I was asked to explain the strategy as if I was pitching it to a potential investor. The interviewer was looking for a comprehensive understanding of the group’s value proposition and the product that they were offering. I was grilled on the fundamentals of real estate analysts including cap rates and lease accounting changes. This involved some back of the envelope mental math. The modeling test was a fairly standard real estate acquisitions model but with of couple of traps involving the debt.
