Interview
Applied via LinkedIn. Process began with a phone interview, followed up by a case study. Had approximately a week to complete a financial modeling exercise in Excel and put together a PowerPoint presentation for a company given their financials and marketing material. Had a follow-up call to discuss/present my findings. The next phase was in-person interviews with several firm members. These interviews were almost entirely personality and fit based with limited questions about the case study. From start to finish, the entire process lasted over two months.
Interview Questions
Not really any questions that were out of left-field. One interviewer asked "Why work in Michigan instead of Manhattan" which could catch someone off guard if they weren't dead-set on staying/working in MI.
