Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
The hiring process was split into 3 general stages: Initial Online application & Testing, Virtual Interview (staggered), then Online live interview with two hiring managers.

The online application was standard included CV, cover letter, and a short written statement, grades were required to be input. Initial testing was standard semi-gamified with written components and personality components.

The staggered virtual interview was done via Hireview, fairly standard we were given prompts and a short period to prep 90-180 seconds depending on the length of the question. No written component here, some questions were vaguely like a case study but it wasn't strictly formatted that way.

Manager interview was performed by two team managers for the two teams I would be getting exposure with. We were emailed a case study and given twenty mins to prep beforehand, when I logged into the interview we immediately got started with the case roleplay (case was simple sales orientated affair). Second half of the interview was standard personality stuff, no real technical questions.

Received an offer via phone call about an hour after.

Interview Questions
I was asked about the decision why I come to China from overseas. I think it is a general questions to prepare yourself well if coming back from overseas in China. And also if you have a long term plan in this city and why. If this industry is where you want to grow yourself further then if you have done enough research of this company. I think in general the questions are pretty standard but you need to show your sincerity when taking up the position. That is where people want to hire you about.
