Interview
Interview process was fairly relaxed. After submitting my resume and getting a call, I went to the office for an interview. The interview was one on one and I basically just had to describe my experiences in writing professionally and financial analysis.
Interview Questions
They expect you to know a bit of financial analysis/valuation for the role. Most students who are in their 1st, 2nd year of uni mainly know DCF and relative valuation, which is pretty standard. However, it will not necessarily impress the employer as everyone basically know these valuations.
The role as a research intern also requires you to be able to write professionally, as the job is basically writing stock research reports. I was also asked if I had any experience in writing professional reports.
