Founded in 2022 and headquartered in New York City, it was established and is led by Chelsea Mandel as Founder and Managing Director.

The firm began with a core focus on sale-leaseback advisory—helping business owners and financial sponsors unlock non-dilutive capital from real estate assets. Over time, it expanded its service offering to include tenant lease structuring, build-to-suit financing, and market data & research, delivering seamless balance-sheet and capital strategy solutions.

Ascension Advisory has grown its global footprint rapidly: following early U.S. roots, it launched offices in London, Miami, Toronto, and most recently Madrid, to cater to European clients directly. Mathew Wainwright leads European sales from the Madrid office, coordinating with the London hub to enhance cross-continent coverage.
