1st Year Analyst

This was for an analyst position for the Kearney Energy & Process Industry division.

I had one interview with an associate and a partner. FOr the first half, the associate interviewed me, asking behavioral questions and and then a case study. Then the partner came on an hour later and repeated the same thing with different questions and a different case.

The behavioral questions were typical questions, so not much of a surprise there. The cases were different than the usual MBB cases. More of a question and answer structure while looking through slides. Do not overthink the math. I came in thinking the cases were more math heavy but I failed the cases because I over thought them. The cases were industry-focused. The one I remember was sizing how many electrical poles are needed in the for the grid in the U.S. I was then asked procurement based questions.
