You apply online through some job posting site. They invited me to go for the interview. There was only one interview with the boss of the firm.
Interview Questions
There wasn't any particularly difficult question. Mostly asked based on your resume and behavioral. With that being said, he did ask some very random questions based on your experiences. Such as if you have done some deals in the past, he might ask you what do you think if company X cooperates with company Y? what are some of the implications or what not. He also likes to get into really details about your past experiences. however, it doesn't seem like he really cares about what it is. he just want to know more lol.

To be honest, the interview only last about ten minutes. The CEO of the company interviewed me personally and offered the internship right away.
Interview Questions
The first question is to introduce yourself. Afterwards, the recruiter asked why are you qualified for this internship and what kind of professional skills do you possess.
My answers are as following: I am a junior student majoring in Finance and so on and so on. I know you are looking for part time intern because of the recruiting post I saw on school website and also information from my peers who worked here as intern last semester. As you can see from my resume, I have enrolled in finance courses and received good grades, for example, I have took Accounting and Financial Statement Analysis, therefore I have the ability to conduct in-depth research.
Why this company? Where do you get the information about recruiting? What do you expect to learn and get from the internship? What can you do to help create value to the company?
I apply for the internship because my friend recommended to me. He was a intern here last semester and he gain a lot of experiences and went to many company conferences where he received the latest information on markets and industries. Therefore, I would like nothing more than to join the company as a research intern and gain professional experiences outside campus. I would also like to know about the market, industries and companies in Asia.
