Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Spoke with the recruiter to arrange an in-person interview. In person consisted of a few hours of 3/4 (1 on 1) interviews. Very laid back, wanted to learn about background, excel skills (not modeling).

Interview Questions
Nothing was unexpected. They did ask me about my interests which I was kind of surprised. The interview was very laid back and all were 1 on 1 for about 30-50 minutes each. Next steps would consist of a group lunch/interview and a skills-based test (excel). From what I heard, the excel test doesn't require any modeling skills, but they want to see if you can navigate through excel well. They want to see if you can use formulas/pivots/etc. to go through large amounts of data and come with a conclusion.
