Interview
The first interview was over the phone and was basically just asked about myself and my resume. Took a couple weeks to hear back from then interviewed in person with managing principal. Asked why I wanted to work at Avison, what I knew about the company, what I could bring to the firm. Heard back a week later. Very hard to get in without employee referral.
Interview Questions
Most difficult questions asked were what I would look for when prospecting for new clients and what I would in a pitch for why the prospect should hire our firm. I wasn't aware I would be interacting in client pitches because I didn't have my license and in the end I didn't end up participating but they asked to see my thought process and what I new about the company. Outside of these two questions all other questions were behavioral and not too unexpected from a normal interview. Asked about resume, why this firm, etc.
