Please describe the interview / hiring process.
A professor was helping me recruit out of a SoCal school and had a contact in B. Riley. He sent my resume around and I got a call a couple weeks later when they were looking for an intern for the LA location. I spoke with a VP at the time and he talked with me for about 35 minutes. Mostly fit for the first round although he snuck a couple technicals in as well. Got called a couple weeks later to meet with other people in the firm including the Head of IB. Spoke with them for 30 minutes each (5 total) and got an offer a couple days later.
