Bankmed S.A.L. (the "Bank") is a Lebanese joint stock company, registered under Number 5261 in the Lebanese Commercial Register on August 13, 1955 and under Number 22 in the list of banks published by the Central Bank of Lebanon. The principal activities of the Bank and its subsidiaries (the Group) consist of conventional commercial and private banking through a network of 63 branches in Lebanon in addition to a branch in Cyprus and 3 branches in Iraq, a subsidiary in Switzerland, a subsidiary in Turkey (with 33 branches) and a subsidiary financial institution in Lebanon (with 6 branches). The Bank's certificates of deposit are listed on the Luxemburg Stock Exchange. Bankmed S.A.L. is wholly owned by GroupMed (Holding) S.A.L. and its headquarters are located in Clemenceau, Beirut, Lebanon.
