Interview
Phone Call. Spoke with Portfolio Manager. Classic questions. Asked me to evaluate my LP stake in a fund.
Interview Questions
Like I mentioned before, the interview was a phone interview, so the questions were fairly standard. We started by talking about the Portfolio Manager's experience, background, and what he worked on. We then made our way into my background, focus, and what I worked on. Talked through some bullet points on my resume. We then dove directly into a case. He wanted me to evaluate my potential stake as an LP in a hedge fund. How much would I be willing to pay? We made some assumptions about returns, growth, other LPs, etc.
